The Stihl MS 162 petrol chainsaw is a small home use chainsaw for processing firewood, pruning or felling small trees. Introduced into the range in 2024 it is an ideal light weight, user friendly entry into chainsaw ownership.
Powered by the latest Stihl 2-MIX engine technology, which combines great cutting performance with low fuel consumption and emissions. Fitted with a 12” (30cm) guide bar and 3/8″ P chain and an easy to use side mounted chain tensioner.
The STIHL anti-vibration system takes the strain out of working for longer periods by minimising vibration transfer to the operator. Other features include a single lever choke system for ease of starting, clear fuel and oil tanks and ergonomically designed handles.
