The ECOMILL Chainsaw Mill is based on the well known, traditional Alaskan Saw Mill. It is perfect for those on a tight budget looking to start up their saw milling career, or as a back up mill to take the top off logs.
- The 36” mill will handle chainsaws with bars from 16″[40cm] to 42”
- The 48” mill will handle chainsaws with bars from 16″[40cm] to 54”

It is not clear if this Ecomill is engineered to a higher standard than very similar devices available elsewhere at lower prices, the nuts and bolt not being of the highest quality, but it definitely works, and remarkably well. I’m using it with a Hyundai HYC6200X chainsaw with a 20inch bar and a cross-cut chain, and we are producing some very nice two inch thick boards from felled leylandii to make raised vegetable beds. . The 24″ version of the Ecomill can accommodate up to a 25 inch bar, and coupled with a proper ripping chain would produce very nice, wide planks. I am extremely pleased with the Ecomill, and Briants delivered, if I remember correctly, overnight. Definitely recommended.
