10ft Jacksons Heavy Duty Slotted Intermediate Fence Post (3000 x 120 x 124mm)

Description

This Heavy Duty Slotted Intermediate Post from Jacksons provides exceptional strength and height for demanding fencing projects. Measuring 3.0 meters (approx. 10ft) long with a substantial 120mm x 124mm nominal planed section, it’s designed for use within straight fence runs. It features two opposing 54mm x 25mm slots allowing compatible Jacksons fence panels to be easily slotted into place. 

These longer, heavier posts are particularly useful for installing taller panels, incorporating trellis toppers, or managing changes in ground level (“stepping”) on slopes. However, Jacksons recommend they are generally used for solid fence panel heights less than 2400mm. For specific acoustic fencing needs, acoustic spurs can sometimes be added.  

Compared to concrete alternatives, it offers greater protection against wind damage, is significantly lighter, easier to handle and install, and is not susceptible to cracking, chipping, or frost damage. It also provides greater support than standard square section posts and integrates easily with other Jacksons range products like gravel boards, capping rails, and finials.
