Description
The RMA 243 from STIHL is a battery-powered push-along lawn mower designed for entry-level users looking to cut small to medium-sized lawns at home. Part of a new range of 2 Series battery-powered lawn mowers, it is lightweight and quiet, making it a practical choice for home gardeners.
This mower has a sheet steel deck, a 41 cm cutting width, and single-point height adjustment between 20 and 100 mm. It runs on an AK 20 battery from the AK System range, which is compatible with other tools in the system. The mower has two battery slots so that when the first battery is empty, the second can be used immediately. A full charge with the AK 20 battery allows mowing of up to 230 m².
It can be used in four mowing modes: cut and collect using the grass catcher box, cut and drop with the box removed, side discharge via the integrated flap, or mulching using the multi-blade and mulch insert. The comfort mono-handlebar gives easy access to the catcher box, which has a 52-litre capacity and a fill level indicator. The handlebar is height-adjustable and folds down for storage.
