Plasmor Fibolite 7.3N High Strength Block

Description

Plasmor Fibolite 7.3N blocks are engineered to solve the common trade-off between weight and strength. Manufactured from Plasmor’s expanded clay aggregate, they are significantly lighter than solid dense blocks (approx. 9.5kg) yet deliver the 7.3N/mm² compressive strength required for structural masonry, foundations, and the lower storeys of 3-storey buildings.

These blocks are fully load-bearing and suitable for use in both the internal and external leaves of cavity walls, as well as partitioning and column encasement. Their lightweight nature reduces bricklayer fatigue and speeds up construction, while their granular texture provides an excellent key for rendering and plastering. They also offer good thermal insulation (0.28 W/mK), contributing to the overall energy efficiency of the building envelope.
