Description

FIBOLITE blocks are the “ultra-lightweight” choice in the Plasmor range, manufactured from the company’s own man-made expanded clay. This unique aggregate consists of lightweight granules with a hard vitrified shell and a honeycombed inner core, resulting in a block that is incredibly light (approx. 8.5kg) yet durable.

These blocks are specifically designed to speed up construction by allowing for one-handed lifting, significantly reducing laying time and fatigue. They offer excellent thermal conductivity (0.24 W/mK), making them highly effective for meeting Part L energy regulations. Their surface texture provides an ideal key for plaster and render, and they accept direct nailing and drilling with ease. Suitable for use above and below DPC, they are perfect for house building, extensions, and renovation projects.
