Description
The STIHL FSA 400 is a powerful battery-powered clearing saw designed for professional use in landscaping and grounds maintenance. Comparable in output to the petrol FS 411 C-EM, it’s suited for clearing dense grass, heavy growth, and small trees. Its low-noise operation makes it ideal for use in noise-sensitive areas.
The FSA 400 features a bike handle for ergonomic handling, with a folding clamp for quick adjustment. It runs on a robust EC motor and offers three adjustable speed settings, automatically adapting RPM depending on the cutting head used. A built-in anti-vibration system reduces strain during prolonged use, and a removable air filter helps keep the motor cool and efficient.
Supplied with the AutoCut 46-2 mowing head, it is compatible with various STIHL cutting tools including DuroCut, TrimCut, PolyCut, BrushCut, ShredCut, GrassCut, and WoodCut. The clearing saw is IPX4 rated for all-weather use, and comes with a durable build including a 28 mm aluminium shaft and stainless steel components. Also includes an ADVANCE PLUS universal harness and supports the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A for fleet integration.
