Description
The KMA 80 R is a battery-powered KombiMotor from the STIHL AK System, designed for domestic use in home gardens. It runs on a 36-volt lithium-ion battery and delivers quiet, efficient performance across a wide range of gardening tasks. Compatible with all KombiTools except the FSB-KM, it allows for quick tool changes by simply inserting and securing the desired attachment.
Equipped with a new ergonomic loop handle featuring a quick-mount system, it enables comfortable use on slopes, around obstacles or uneven ground. A brushless EC motor ensures consistent performance, while the control handle allows for two-speed settings: ECO mode for lighter tasks like trimming, which conserves battery life, and full-speed mode for more power-intensive jobs like clearing. Depending on the KombiTool used, speed can also be adjusted continuously.
It can be used with any AK battery, though the AK 30 provides the longest runtime. Users may opt for a lighter battery for extended tasks such as hedge trimming, balancing endurance with comfort.
