Description
The SHA 56 cordless vacuum shredder is a versatile 2-in-1 tool from STIHL’s AK System, designed for vacuuming and shredding leaves or hedge cuttings, as well as for blowing leaves and debris into piles. It runs quietly and is ideal for residential use in noise-sensitive areas.
The machine features a rotatable handle with excellent ergonomics for both vacuum and blower functions. Switching between the two modes requires no tools—simply click the tubes in place and rotate the handle 180 degrees. The variable speed trigger allows you to adjust suction and blowing force according to the task.
In vacuum mode, the catcher bag attaches directly to the vacuum tube instead of over the shoulder, improving comfort. A padded, adjustable shoulder strap is also included for support during longer use. A metal shredder blade inside the fan wheel efficiently reduces collected material volume, and the shredder blade opening is easily accessible to clear blockages if needed.
With the recommended AK 20 battery, the SHA 56 has a working time of up to 25 minutes.
